Electrical Services
Our highly trained electricians are accredited under the NICEIC Domestic Installer and NICEIC Approved Contractor schemes. They carry Part P and 17th Edition certification, along with City and Guilds 2391 and 2392 for electrical installations and inspection and testing.
The are experienced in domestic, commercial and industrial work and are happy to carry out all electrical jobs; from repairing or replacing a light or socket in a house to carrying out Electrical Condition Reports formerly periodic inspection reports or electrical installations in industrial units of commerical premises - large or small we can provide repairs and maintenance, quotations and recommendations, fault finding, PAT testing, re-wiring and new installations for all your electrical needs.
We are also able to undertake fixed term maintenance contracts to carry out lighting checks and lamp replacement, emergency lighting checks and meter readings - all tailored to your exact requirements.
We are pleased to announce that during the summer of 2010 we employed our first apprentice electrician to learn alongside our experienced electricians and gain valuable on the job training. We see this as an important part of our development as a company and are looking forward to giving something back into the industry by helping create the next generation of electricians.
At Quickcall M&E Ltd we only employ trade qualified personnel who drive our liveried vans, carry our company ID at all times and are CRB checked. We do not charge call out fees and our rates are split into hourly increments.
Service breakdown
Below is an extensive but not exhaustive list of the works we are able to undertake on your behalf:
- Installation and repair of sockets
- Installation and repair of lighting - interior, low voltage, garden, security lighting
- Re-wiring and adding spurs for additional sockets, cooker points, etc
- Installation and wiring of electric hobs, extractor fans, storage heaters, ovens
- Instalation of RCD protection
- Installation of electrical wired smoke detectors (Cat DEF)
- Re-wiring of circuits to complete re-wiring of premises
- Fault finding
- Earth bonding
- Upgrading of domestic consumer units and commercial and industrial distribution boards
- Statutory electrical testing - PAT testing and certification and periodical electrical installation testing and certification
- Emergency lighting installation
All of the above works are carried out with the full administrative backing of the office staff at Quickcall M&E Ltd. They take enquiries, book jobs, ensure paperwork is produced and distributed in a timely manner to guarantee the smooth running of not only the day to day business but also site based contracts and our 24 hour call out service.
